thanks for the suggestions, they made interesting reading, and
saved me a lot of time searching through the notes.
I've also had a mail reply from Wayne Hunter, also from the States, which
was very much appreciated but makes me wonder if their are any UK
anglers listening in to this notes file.

I work in the Crescent Basingstoke. I know a little bit about UK
piking. Mail me, note here or whatever.
One tip. Join Reading & District AA. They have loads of Pike waters
that contain fish up to 30lb.

Hi,
another Englander, try weir pools at the Thames lock at King's
Meadow near Reading. Deadbait on a trace works best, might catch
a couple of 'orrible eels though...
