| Yellowfin tuna generally do not come that far north. If you are really
interested in catching them, you'll have to fill up and head south of the cape.
I think it would be a long haul.
Bluefin tuna are supposedly showing up in Cape Cod Bay, and they are
definitely being caught on the open ocean. Trolling is probably best at
this point. Surprisingly, quite a number of the tuna being caught are in the
200-400 lb range.
Sharks will probably still be scarce this far north. Your best bet would be
to go south or southeast and find some warm water. Chumming will be the ticket
here.
The blues and stripers will prbably be running around the tip at P-town.
I don't know of any specific spots though. There's also good fluke and flounder
fishing there.
Good luck. We expect a full report on your return!

| Try 1/2 mile off the Pamet river - known locally as "the path"
Blues are usually thick around there. Look for the charter boats out
of Rock Harbour.
I dont know the rips off Race point very well but they seem to hold a
lot of fish - whales too.
At dusk and dawn the edges of Billingsgate shoal can produce bass. Be
careful, the water is very shallow. The cut at the tip of Jerremy point is
another good place - shallow as well.
