| i might know of one that somebody bought and never used (never).
it' s an eagle flasher (portable...just add to 6 volt batteries)
or it can be connected directly to boat battery. i own one myself
and it works super. not sure if it is still available, but if
you call me i will check. i would guess that the price would
be under 100 bucks

| I thought a flasher was something you dragged behind the
boat. I was thinking "A hundred bucks! Wow!"
I got it now.

| Has anyone seen the 1990 Fall catalog from Bass Pro, yet. I Paid them for a
two year catalog subscription, and rang them 3 times to try to get the
summer catalog, until they finally admitted that they didn't have any, and
told me the fall one was out, and I should receive it in a week or two.
That was five weeks ago. I am ready to ring them, and blast them soon....

| For what is worth now...During the middle of the summer, in a book
store in Nashua, NH (or is it Merrimack there?) on 101A in the Mall
behind 'Greystone'(SP???) -- Nashua/Merrimack line - I saw
the 1990 Bass pro bibles. I dont know if they would still be there.
But the store was just opening (like brand new?). I dont know where the
base noter lives, but a call the some good book stores might produce
one. This was not a big book store either. Tell BP to keep your
$$ for 91 and 92..

| Do you guys really pay for those catalogs? They always ask me if I
wanna buy one when I order, I always say "no thanks". They mail them
anyway, for free!

1083.12 | they pay you, actually | RANGER::MACINTYRE | Terminal Angler | Tue Sep 11 1990 13:45 | 8 |
| The seasonal catalogs are free, but they attempt to charge for the
'master' catalogs. When you purchase a master catalog for $2 they
give you a $3 gift certificate, so you make a buck on the deal. I
usually wind up getting at least one additional 'free' master
catalog, which is good because that allows one at home and one in the
office 8^).
