893.0. "Need Some "Fall Out" Info." by BOSHOG::VARLEY () Wed Oct 12 1988 10:35

Ole "Lavender Jack" and I will be seeking the elusive Largemouth
Bass (them ole brown fish are o.k. too) soon, and we'd appreciate
some help from you Granite Staters.
Anyone familiar with Gilmore pond or Norway pond ? I heard the
former was primarily trout and smallmouth, and the launch looks
kinda tight. Both are real pretty, and are of a size that should
make 'em easier to fish. I also understand there's an "electric
only" motor restriction on Gilmore. Does that mean you have to pull
the prop on your gas engine, or just keep it out of the water ?
If anyone has other suggestions for fall "hot spots", we 'preciate
'em, and the sooner we hear from you, the better (we're not hard
water fisherman - the boat sits up too high).

    Tight lines,

Hey, Skoal...

I just gave Lavender some info on Pawtuckaway the other day. Did you guys
go or are you going someplace else? Or you did go AND you're going some
place else?

Looks like we're goin' friday, and thanks for the Pawtuckaway info.
I just wanted some more info in case it's windy ( no anchors for
the Lavender one, they clash with the boat). Norway and Gilmore
    just looked good to me.
