Is anyone out there familiar with shore fishing locations in Connecticut? Especially between New Haven north to Rhode Island.

try Meigs point in Hammonasett state park, Manatesett Island is real good for blue, black and stripers, you can walk to the island at low tide but you might get a little wet if you try to leave at high. how about the rock jetty at the mouth of the ct river. that's all i can think of offhand, i usually fish off a boat. Over the weekend I was looking through some fishing mag's. Found an article in the September 15th issue of The Fisherman called "Connecticut Shore: Devon To...Old Lyme". This article mentions many places to fish. (It may not do much good for this year) If you want a copy let me know your mailstop. Ed | |||||

Anyone out there getting anything in the CT area. I fished the Niantic river a couple of weekends ago and picked up some nice size flounder. How about Blacks? How has the Cod been out around Block? Rick |
