Can someone tell me where STUMPFIELD MARSH IS ?
    (In N.H)
I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW IF ANYONE HAS FISHED THERE.
What time of the day is good and if the fish are
    hitting the top there now.

Thanks. See you there this weekend!!

Most people refer to Hopkington Lake as Stumpfield Marsh, they are
located right next each other. Stumpfield March itself is rather
small. Hopkington is where people are referring to when they talk
about the fishing. As Keith said, check out the tourny notes.

Holeshot and I have been fishing the place for a number of years
now. Great place, that's where my mount came from. On my my mount
it says "Stumpfield Marsh" but it was actually Hopkington Lake,
but we didn't know that at the time.

    Have fun, Don Mac

I was wondering if anyone has been fishing at stumpfield yet this
year because last year I went there in the spring and the gate was
closed and I got a stiff neck from backing up my trailer all the
way up the road!! I heard that the ROAD CLOSED sign is off to the
side of the road but the person didn't know if the gate was open
    or not?

BASS-O-MATIC, Hopkingtion was closed as of this weekend. NHABC
had planned on a tourny there this past weekend and we had to
move it becuase it was closed. You can call the US Army Corps of
Engineers to find out when it'll open.

donmac (who wound up glad the tourny got changed becuase he won
the tourny at massabesic with a 5lb4oz hawg!)

Well I got up saturday morning to go fishing at Stumpfield and loaded
up the boat, put gas in the truck, packed the cooler and so on...
I drove all the way up there and while I was about to turn into the
launch road there was a sign stating that the launch was CLOSED due to
flood control. (you can file this in the "I hate it when" note!)

So I decided to head back towards Concord, I didn't want to fish the
Merrimack River because that was really high and running pretty fast.
Then I remembered a place off exit 16 called Turtle Pond and caught
6 bass, nothing much of size but it was alot better then going back
home without getting my line wet.

I would appreciate it if anyone out there can let me know when
    Stumpfield re-opens.

    Thanks!
