| Try Al's Goldfish (best), Kastmasters, and Panther-Martin spinners in smallest
sizes. For bait, numero uno is a marshmallow threaded onto the hook
shank above a red salmon egg on a #10 or #12 sharp hook. Had less
success with night crawlers and nothing at all with shiners. Put
everything on the bottom with as little weight as possible and try
to stick with 4 lb. test.
The above were used casting from shore. Also did some trolling with
Al's Goldfish and Kastmasters, had some hits.
Flyfishing has not been productive for me yet, although I saw two guys
taking several trout from shore of Peter's Pond on nymphs.
Anyway, that's what I'vve been taking them on.
Enjoy!

| Not a bad weekend for me, I got four medium sized trout, 2 brookies
and 2 rainbows, 10"-15". I got to use my new smoker this weekend,
boy were they good!!
They were all caught in Howe pond, in about an hour time. Most
of the people there were using worms on the bottom with some success.
I got them on a variety of lures, Super-Duper, Rooster Tail, Colorodo,
and a Dare devil.
Does any one out there got a good smoking marinate for trout?
also how can I clean these to remove the bones after or before they
are smoked.
