655.0. "Looking for Help from NY,NJ" by TOOK::SWEET (Capt. Codfish...Jeffries Ledge or Bust) Thu Mar 31 1988 13:26

Any of you NY, NJ fisherman close to Middleland Tackle? If so I
need a #10 Fuji BSVLG guide in Black for a poping rod I am building
someone. They quoted me at least 2 weeks if I send in an order.
Anyone close enough to pick this part up and drop it in the mail?

Or does anyone know of an outfit that might stock these?

    Thanks,
Bruce (The Sweet Dreams lower unit is going back on TODAY!)

    Bruce.. where are you located?
If you're in New England, did you try West Falmouth
Tackle, or the Surfcaster in Darien(?) Conn.?

If price is not an issue, give me a call at dtn 332-4269 and I'll
check some of the local shops.

A public thankyou to the Bagel! Rich found the guide I needed and
sent it up to me (I got it today). I will start wrapping the rod
tonight. I think that kind of help is the spirit in which this
    notes file was created.

    Thanks again.

655.4NJ Robalo Dealers?TOOK::SWEETCapt Codfish...Looking for Mr. TunaFri Jul 01 1988 10:4416
Once again I solicite help from down south, first let me say I
am jelous of all the fish you guys are catching down there, way
to go vinne (only five yellowfin!).

I am almost convinced that I want to buy a robalo 2565. I have only
seen pictures of the 25 and seen the 23 foot version live. I here
    there is a 2565
at a dealer somewhere in NJ. Any of you guys know of any robalo
dealers down there? Even better is there one close enough so you could
maybe get a peak at this baby and give me comments?

None of the New England dealer have them in stock, I guess they
    are limited production.

    Thanks for any info...
    Bruce
