639.0. "Memorial Day Fishing and Camping" by BUFFER::DEAN () Mon Mar 21 1988 19:26

Being new to New England, I would like to take advantage of the
fishing and camping opportunities this Memorial Day with my family.
Having looked through many of the camping and fishing guides, the
    number of choices is astounding!

What I would like to ask is for recommendations as to quality camp
grounds for tent camping with fishing the primary interest. I have
two (2) children (7 and 9) to consider. Also my boat has a 35 HP.
Merc. and many of the lakes have a HP. limit. Mass. camp grounds
would be best but other areas close would also be nice.

Thanks in advance for your help.

First thing we need is your home location. That way, we can give
you info on places that won't be too far for you and your family
    to travel.

Oh, yes! My location! How about Medway, MA. in the area of I 495
    and the Mass Pike.

Actually, I am willing to travel almost anywhere in New England

(MA, ME, NH, VT, RI, etc....) for family fun and fishing......

Nickerson State Park, on the Cape, is the best I've seen. Get's crowded
around summertime, but well worth the wait. Clean, relatively cheap
    and good fishing.
