Waterfront Mary's !!!
an old stompin' ground of my youth. If I take a noon time break
maybe I'll drive over though the Buck Hill pass to catch the weigh-in.
I live in Pascoag just over hills from E. Thomson. CT. A friend
and I thought of buying the place last year, but Mary wanted to
sell it as a package deal with her other bar downtown.

| Funny thing is I just drive there and I don't think that I could
tell you how to do it. The site is called Memorial Beach and it
is off Hwy 395 on Hwy 12. Basically on the northwest shore of the
lake. Once in the area yo shouldn't have to much trouble finding
it.
Hope you can make it, Ranger Ron (somewhere in the vincinity of
this body)

| I don't know if I can make it, but I can help a little on the
directions. Go 395 south to exit 2, which is route 16. Make a
right at the end of the ramp and a left at the first set of lights,
that should be 193. About a 1/2 mile down you'll see the police
station on your left. Turn left after the police station, there's
a sign that will say Memorial beach.
Mike_L (who fished a tournament there last week-end and only four
keepers were caught between the whole club)

he knows what a key board is. He probally had someone write the
letter. As for the GOON of the Lakes comment. You could get slapped
for saying that! I know there are a lot of guys who don't have
anything good to say about the Legend...YES its true! But at least
The Legend showed up when he said he would!! Thats more than I
can say for the TBDW! I can't make this one but if I had to put
my money on any of you I would have to go with the WORM....Anyone
this stupid has to be good at something...its either fishing or
drinking! The odds are with me...I know he owns a ROD!

I did for the first one last year at Manchuag - come to think of

| I'd go to this tourney if it wasn't on Monomonac. If I'm gonna go
fishin' this time of year (and be uncomfortable), it's gonna be to
a place that has the potential for alot of bass and big ones. I
haven't heard of a large stringer out of this lake in the last 5
years, (if anyone can say something different, then please set me
straight, sure would make me feel better about this place).
Don has the right idea about going after big fish this time of year
(although he probably should be looking for big largemouths instead
of smallmouth bass because 6, and 7LB+ are not uncommon), the biggin's
are now moving into the shallows and can be caught with a certain
regularity. I'm planning on going to Morey Lake in Vermont this Sunday
(weather permitting), I've fished it a few times the last coulple of
years with some pretty good results. It also has some pretty big pike
(7 to 20LBer) which can certainly add to the excitment and ones
body heat.
After the "Fair Weather Tourney" last week I went to Beaver Lake in
Derry and within 20 min. I'd caught 4 bass which included a 3lb, 4lb,
and a 6 1/4lb bass. The big one was under a dock in about 3 feet of
water.

| RAIN HELL. STEVE AND I WERE THE ONLY PEOPLE TO SHOW. WE CAUGHT A

| i heard on the news last night that a guy in a tournament at
guntherville lake here in alabama caught a 14.6 lbs bass they had a
picture of the bass but the guy would not give out any information on
where he caught it or what he was using because he still had two more
days for the tournament. i will be out their this weekend i hope he put
it back in the water so i can have a chance at it.
