I'm looking for some info on Hopkington resevior(sp). Can you use a boat with an electric motor ? If so directions to the ramp.I'm looking for trout but if things are slow I'll try some bassin. Good spots from shore or from the boat will be appreciated. THANKS Dave C

Hopkinton where? NH or MASS?? If it's Hopkinton Lake in NH, (aka Stumpfield), there's no trout...only bass, pickeral, kivvers, perch, and hornpout. -joe-

re: .0 If its Hopkinton Ma. your talking about : Yes - electric motors are allowed. To get to the launch ramp, head south on Rt. 85 from Rt. 9 - about 4-5 miles down (right over the Hopkinton town line) on your left you'll see the entrance to Hopkinton State Park - go in the park and there are signs to the boat ramp). I've fished a lot from shore on the side of the lake which boarders Rt. 85 (on the beach) - A lot of people fish where Rt. 85 goes over the lake. I also see a lot of people trolling over in that area. (I've never fished it in the fall so I can't help you with that) Be aware! The last time I was there (In late August for some windsurfing) - the water level was *very* low! Robert.
