I'm about to resume my normally fruitless pursuit of trout in Wachusett Reservoir - fall edition. Since I'm basically a "catch and release", "no live bait" guy, my options are somewhat limited but I'm always open to suggestions. I'm pretty familiar with Wachusett, and I try to spend a bit of time there in Spring and Fall, because there probably isn't a better place in Mass. to catch a big trout from the shore. Has anyone had any success there lately, or generally in the Fall? Any suggestions will be promptly utilized and I'll let y'all know what the results are. Otherwise, I'll just keep pitchin' Krokodiles painted to look like '57 Chevys and hope to piss off a significant Brown or Landlock...

Seven keepers..sounds like a productive trip. Approximately where on Wachusett did you fish? I've fished plastic worms and crankbaits from Tohanto High School up to "no fishing zone" with no luck over the past few weekends. Any help/direction would be appreciated. Thanx Bob | |||||

I got a small trout at Comet pond this week end and got skunked there yesterday. There were plenty of people fishing Comet yesterday, and a couple of them told me it was just stocked in the morning. Ray |
