For any of you interested in fishing a nice tournament in Maine
, we are having the 8th annual Cobbossee Open on Sunday July 12,
at the Birches campground . There will be over 10,000$ in prizes
and cash . 1st place pays 1200$ to 10th 65.00$ + trophies .
This is the largest bass tournament in this state every year and
will be a good one again this year . This is a team tournament and
is limited to 100 teams (last year there were 90 boats )
This usually draws a lot of interest and entrants from the Mass
area and Conn .
The entry fee is 75$ per team if paid by the 1st of July , then
it bumps to 85 . Each entrant will receive more than the entry fee
back in various tackle and gifts at the start . This is an excellent
lake and there will be a lot of big fish caught . Anyone interested
can let me know if they want or need more info .

| Well we had a big turn out. ranger ron blow us off...
No one else should up except for some nondecies......
al and jerry we INTERESTING to fish with.......

Good thing it was a big fish pool and not a total weight
pool or we were had it them 13 keepers us 8 big fish us (me or was
it al... ) I guess it mater who you talk to .....
Hay Jerry learn how to fish worms let your wife (another read/only
person) fish jigs!

What you thought you heard him write is not necessarily what he said
for you to see.
What he meant was:
Ranger Ron didn't show up.
Bassin' Bob caught most of the fish.
The one fish I caught was the lunker that got us the money.
Jerry had a rough night (hasn't adjusted to the back deck).
Bassin' Bob poked fun at my scientifically accepted (by 3 out of 4
dentists) way I remotely (and automatically) camoflage my bait with tree leaves
in an attempt to give it that NATURAL look.
He did not mention, however, after I went to great pains (using my
highly developed casting skills) to drop a green DEEP WEE R at this blond's
feet (she was standing on a sea wall), how he stuck his foot in his mouth by
telling her "with your weight we'll be sure to win the money".
All in all I had a great time and appreciated the opportunity to fish
with Jerry and Bob instead of against them. Let's do it again..

| Ya gotta know where Bob's mind and priorities are when he forgets
a "blonde on the wall"!!!! I'll bet he was probably trying to guess
her weight, length and girth too!

Subj: This is IT!!!!
Well, this is the last scheduled ABC tourney. Start time will be 7:00A.M.
weigh in at 12:00Noon.. We will launch from the Auburn side as we did in
the first tourney. Hope everyone show up and catches fish. I doubt that
my "lunker" at 2Lb 11Oz will hold up.
