Lake Damarascotta, Maine. Having just built a house on the lake I'm looking forward to catching some of those lakers and salmon everyone is talking about. If anyone has fished it before I'd like to hear about it especially techniques in early season trolling and what type og gear. I've got the boats with cover so the weather won't pose a problem. Gerry

The ice has just left Damarascotta 2 days ago , the togue fishing will be good for the upcoming weekend . I live 1/2 mile from the lake and fish it quite a lot , my club is having another tournament on it this year . We had a very successful one last year that proved the lake to have largemouth as well as the known smallmouth in it . This is an excellent bass lake that is underfished , you should be on the water asap if you intend to catch the coldwater fish . This lake is not one of the better lakes for salmon and togue , however it will do . If you need or desire more information feel free to give me a call DTN 271-6975. Al Vorhis | |||||
