252.0. "Rod Building Supplies" by ANYWAY::WAITKEVICH () Mon Feb 16 1987 10:20

    Does anyone know where I can get rod building supplies on the Southern
    N.H. area ? I know about Kitery Trading Post but would like something
    closer. I've been using the catalogs but would rather touch & see.

    Hunter's in New Boston center. I know their big into Fly tying supplies
    but I'm not sure about rod building supplies (487-3388). I'd also
    try the Fisherman's Hut in Manchester (622-9182). I built several
    rods and have gotten alot of my supplies from Cabela's (1-800-237-
    4444), they usually ship out supplies immediately and you have it
    in a couple of days.

    	Have you tried Northern Bass Supply. Ken has one of their catalogs
    and I thought I had seen rod blanks in it. I think they are off
    of Rt 125 in either Kingston or Plastow. Maybe Joe Tomas can help
    with specifics as I remember he mentioned them in a note about LCR's.
    	If you've never been there, let me know. I can grab Ken's catalog
    and double check for you tonight.

    P.S. What type of rod are you building this time, spinning, baitcasting,
    flyfishing, or surf.
