Does anyone have any good suggestions for charter boat for fishing striped bass. Until now I fished out of westport on boat run by ex decie but he has given up this year. My four boys and I and usually one other person go out and the boat in westport was 29' so I would need about the same size charter either north or south shore. Any suggestions greatly appreciated. ohn

Tony Tolentino out of Falmouth runs a great charter. Your arms will be sore. He's not cheap, however. 508-548-6274 | |||||

Captain Bob Andrews runs the Osprey out of Orleans, MA. Orleans is sort of at the inside elbow of Cape Cod. We make this an annual event. Bob has been there for 30 years and knows the Cape Code Bay waters better than most other captains. We always get our fill of stripers and blues. My biggest so far has been a 48"/42# striper a couple years ago. He provides all the gear, and it's top quality. There's a max of 6 people plus a mate and Bob. He has an 8hr and 4hr trip leaving each day at various times depending on the tides. Let me know if you are interested and I'll FAX a copy of his schedule, which begins in April and ends in October. |
