It's going to be chunky, with Felix passing by in the next few days... I'm not
sure I'd want to go out this weekend. Be prepared to cancel your plans as the
boats might not be going. It depends on where (if) he comes ashore.

Lovely. Now someone post some useful information, like WHERE THE *#@$ ARE ALL
THE TUNAFISH HANGING HOW?

463.4RE:-1BIRDIE::AUGERFri Aug 25 1995 17:053
That's easy - anywhere that I'm not fishing for them !!!

TOMORROW I HOPE...

Hey, Dave...

With all those SIXTY PLUS KEEPER STRIPERS you caught this year...

	YOU DON'T DESERVE A TUNA...

		until you help me get my FIRST keeper!!!

-Joe-

BTW... visited my son down on Martha's Vineyard this weekend and some guy
caught a 35# and a 37# striper, AT THE SAME TIME, on an umbrella rig!
463.6RE: (-1) Teaching old dogs new tricks....IBR2::AUGERWed Aug 30 1995 16:3819
Hey Joe,

	I'd be happy to show you how to catch a keeper but it wouldn't do any
good because you can't teach old dogs new tricks. I supposed I could take you
out in the boat, bait your hook, hook the fish for you then let you reel it in.
But from what I've heard of your fishing skills, handing you the rod would give
the fish a better then 95% chance of getting free.

	You just can't expect the "Ultimate Schoolie Fisherman" to comprehend
what it takes to catch the big boys!!! If you want big fish you've got to use
big bait...

Dave

PS - Are you a decendent of the Babe Ruth? My luck tuna fishing is bad enough,
     without having to endure the "Curse of the Bimbo"

Opps...That should have read "Bambino"
