Has anyone ever fished Pleasant Lake in New London NH? I've heard it's known for record Salmon and large Brook Trout. Any hints as to good spots to try ice fishing on it?

I've fished there during regular trout season. Decent action with brookies. State record brookie (9 lbs) and salmon (18.5 lbs) come from there.

Is there a ramp? After reviewing the new rule book it appears that Pleasant lake is closed to ice fishing, but It might be fun to try this spring...

Yep, a nice ramp, but expect to do some heavy duty time sharing. We were up there for opening morning three? years ago, and it was a mob scene. finding a place to park the vehicle was the hardest part.
