| RE: Sports Authority - their prices are very good, also. We recently
bought a pair of Ragg fingerless icefishing gloves in Milford, for $16.
We saw them in Sports Authority last night for $10.
They had a full panel of spinnerbaits for .67 each. Their reel display
and assortment is the largest I've seen in any store, going from fly
reels to gold Penn Internationals that look like they could pull a 4X4
out of the muck.
The best Red Ball insulated boot-foot waders were $79. Overall, we found
the prices equal to or better than the advertised prices in all the
catalogs we get (Cabelas, Gander Mountain, Bass Pro, Fisherman's
Paradise...) - and you don't have to pay the crazy shipping and handling.
(I say `crazy' because they make me add $5 and it costs them $1.79 to
ship it?)

be a long drive for me comin from south of Worcester 8^0
Can ya give directions/phone number?
Is South Willow exit 1 off I-293?
After you get off do you head north or south on Rt-28?
How close to the exit?
I'd like to compare prices with the FAIR and SPAGS.
I just bought a PENN 704Z and PENN SLAMMER 7' Light Weight
Saltwater spinning reel/rod outfit. I got it at the FAIR
during a 20% sale. Reel for $40.00 and Rod for $40
They each were listed at $49.95 each at the FAIR and similar at SPAGS.
I'm most likely going to get more stuff but "may" wait till
Sports/Fishing fair at the FAIR in Mar/Feb.
Looks like this may compete with the FAIR/SPAGS
(I don't buy much from catalogs)

I live about 2 blocks from the place and I hope to check it out in the
next few weeks. If you want to send me a list of what you're looking
for I'll let you know their prices, or if you head up this way tell me
and I'll head over with you. The easiest way to get there (read avoid
the traffic) is to drive right by my house.

Thanks Joe. Will take you up on that offer.
Now all I have to do is plan a day when my wife and I can
go up and check this out together.
I don't have a list cause that way I won't buy anything I don't need.
No fun in that ;^)

| Spags price is $78.99 + sales tax= $82.94
Sports Authority is $82.96
