I'm starting this string of as a focal point for the Great Lake anglers. Please
note the keyword: GREAT_LAKES. This keyword should be applied to any entry (in
this string or any other) that refers to fishing the Great Lakes (from any of
the US states or Canadian provinces that touch the Great Lakes).

Another, similar, string has also been started with the keyword MICHIGAN. That
keyword should be used for any entry referring to fishing the  inland waters in
Michigan.

General questions and comments should, of course, be placed in the most
appropriate topic elsewhere in this conference. Please limit entries to this
string to information that would be of specific interest to Great Lake anglers.

For example: 

I was fishing Lake Erie near the nuclear power plant in Monroe Michigan. I
caught a 4 ft, 55 lb LM bass, but decided to throw it back when I noticed it
glowing in the dark! (Actually, I've never fished Lake Erie!)
