| There are four of us going from this year. I have gone every year they
have had this thing . We will be fishing Bass and Northerns way up in
the Northern end of the lake .
We will be leaving Maine on Thursday @ 5am and arriving about 12 or 1
pm . Always a good time with a lot of fish. Have had good luck over the
years (4th place Lm bass & 7th SM Bass) .
We seem to average about 16-18 hrs a day on the water and get a lot of
time to pull em in. Our biggest thing in the past has always been the
local pool we put together , usually there are 8 people that go this
year some couldn't make it.
The best part of this is that there is nothing to think about except
fishing for five days solid, no lawn to cut , no house to paint etc.
This file has not shown a lot of interest in this event in the past for
some reason.

| Any wanting more info on the annual LCI derby can call LCI directly at
(802) 862-7777 between 8:00-4:00..
I think if people knew a little more about the tournament and the prize
structure there would certainly be more interest. There are an array
of eligible species ie salmon, steelhead, brown trout, lakers, northern
pike,bass,cats,bowfin,sheepshead...
The 94 derby has a new super grand prize bonus worth a potential
$20,000.00!!!
There is a special TAG category which in the unlikely event someone
should bag the tagged fish it's worth $10,000.00. $1,500 cash by random
drawing if not caught during the derby...
First place yields $3,000 in merchandise or $1,500 cash with cash/prize
list to fifth place.
Team prizes (consist of 2 or more anglers registered as a team). First
place yields 70% of pool and second place yields 30% of pool money.
