I'm going to be traveling to Iowa around the end of June, and I'm hoping to
spend some time trout-fishing. 
         
              Are there trout in Iowa? 

I'll be staying in the eastern part of the state, near Iowa City. I'm looking 
for a small to mid-size stream(s) for some ultra-light action.

Any information would be most helpful.

If I get any useful information regarding fishing in Iowa, I think an

    I believe there are some trout streams in the northeastern part of the
    state up around Decorah. Glacial granite substrate pops up thoughout
    the area, if my memory serves.
    
    Did we lose the Bear in one of those downsizing spasms?
