I know it maybe early, But my son wants to go Flounder fishing next weekend....Need help in finding a safe harbor to bottom fish from a 12ft tri-hull boat.

Flounder will be legal to take inside 3 miles after May 1st. Where do you have access to (how far do you want to drive)? 12 foot is pretty small for this time of year. Any bay with a mud bottom is a good bet for flats. Salem sound has them, as do quincy bay (the most famous spot for them). they can be found in gloucester harbor and ipswich bay. They can also be caught around the mouth of the merrimack. Bruce |
