           I am intrested in giving a Maine fishing license to someone
     as Christmas gift. Is it possible to get one for the summer months
     only? (for a Maine part timer) What are some prices? An can you
     order one by mail!  If not where is the closest place from Ma.I495.

	The closest place to buy one would be Kittery Trading Post in Kittery, Maine. You may have to call Inland Fisheries in Augusta (207 area code) and ask your question about a dated license. Another way out would be a gift certificate from KTP for use in purchasing a license. Their number is (207) 439-2700 and i'm sure they would accept a charge over the phone and mail the certificate to save you a trip up. Good Luck, Guy
