Hi, I'm a newcomer to the Nashua area (over here for 5 weeks for TEP program). I LOVE fishing, and have managed to borrow a short rod, and some lures and floats etc. I haven't got a reel though, I would really appreciate some time with someone who could show me some good fishing spots in the Nashua area, or even take me out sometime? I will willingly split any expenses, and if ever you come over to the U.K, I could do the same! Thanks, Simon (Mass/Bass Newcomer)

re: .189 Simon, I'll most likely be taking tommorrow Friday off and fishing the Merrimcak River in the Salisbury and Newburyport MA area. Not a far drive from Nashua NH. My son works for the State in Concord NH and will be meeting me at the Salisbury State Park boat ramp around 6:00pm. It's on Rt-1A. Your welcome to come aboard for some Striper/Bluefish hunting during day Friday or Friday night for as long as you wish. We will be fishing all night but will take you back in whenever you get tired reeling in all those keepers.....sure!!!! Let me know ASAP if you can make it as I will invite other friends along to get a boat load. I was in Galway many years back and a person who belonged to the Digital Galway Angling Club gave me his slot on a fishing charter with other DEC Galway persons and I had a great time catching DogFish and Conga eels. I never forgot that kindness and vowed to repeat it given the opportunity. I may also have an opening during the day Saturday as his friend will join us at 7:00am and I want to have 4 on the boat. I am going to invite someone else for Saturday but if they can make it this also may be opened for you. Lemme know ASAP -< Tuna Tail >- aboard the "FishTeaser" 19ft SeaNymph

Simon, Your welcomed aboard the "FishTeasher" anytime. For a first timer ocean fishing you did a great job. Glad we ran into a nice run of big blues so you now have a first hand knowledge of what fun they are at catching. Thanks for helping as mate with my son's blues. We didn't hit anymore runs of Blues like with you but all the other's aboard the "FishTeaser" throughout the weekend caught there share of Blues. Then last two fish aboard 2:00am Sunday were "Stripers" My son caught a 28" and his friend Bill caught a 34" my scale was busted from all the big fish so no weigbt's on them. All fish were released Hope to see ya again. Mabye someone else will take ya out during your remaing weeks here in the US? Good Luck -< TunaTail >-

It was FUN!.. You'll need to get bigger scales, and a larger net now! I really enjoyed myself, thanks. I have been boring all the non-fishing types here with stories of the 2 x 10lbs fish. Maybe next time I can catch some stripers too, 34" sounds like a great fish, would've liked to see that one! Simon |
