Internet news has a variety of them... in particular, I follow
rec.models.rc, but there are also...
rec.models.scale
rec.models.railroad
rec.models.rockets
(There is also alt.supermodels and alt.binaries.pictures.supermodels
but I assume you meant hobby models...)
These can all be gotten on the internet and read from your terminal
through the Digital network or through local connections to either
a university or a dial-n-pay connection service.

BTW - an internet connection would also give you another route to
send electronic mail through to those of us that remain...
