I am looking for either a kit or plans for a Laker. I think its called
a Bucaneer. The full scale plane is a push prop, four seater. It is an
amphibian type plane. Any body know of of either ?

I purchased a Lake Buccaneer kit from , I think it was Hobby lobby.
The manufacturer was Great Planes, I paid $70 back in 1983 for the
kit. It is about 70% done , I never got it finished due to being
just plain lazy. You can build it as either a pusher or tractor
setup, I built it as a pusher, like the full scale version made
right here in New Hampshire. Oh yea now I remember why i put it
aside, You must always configure the fuel tank so that the clunk
is to the rear of the plane. I musta got confused and installed the
tank in the power pod backwards thinking its a pusher sooooo. WRONG.!!
Someday I will finish it. I do however still have the plans that came
with the kit, if you would like to borrow them. Sometimes kit plans
are not the best to build from , but these seem to be good. from what i
remember.
Kevin
PS I also remember it being advertised as semi-scale, but it does look
very close.

Many thanks for the reply. I sent you an E-mail and look forward to
seeing the plans. I hope the model flys as good as the full scale
one.
