1118.0. "Glider scene in Germany" by MUNCSS::KARNITSCHNIK () Thu Sep 28 1989 09:36
Hi friends of gliders and people who would like to be friends!
--------------------------------------------------------------
Something about the classes of gliders in Germany:
F3B (international class). There are 3 squads A/B/C-squad. The A-squad
is our national team.
F3B-D, it's our slope racing (international F3F I think).
F3B-E, it's a duration program (200 sec. and a jury judges the landing,
the lounching method is with a 100 meter rope wich is dragged by hand.
3 rounds have to be fly. The bader one have to delete.
F3B-K, it's a acrobatic program (preparation time is 10 minutes,within this
10 minutes we have 4 take-offs and per take-off 2 figures to fly)
3 rounds have to be fly. The bader one have to delete.
In F3B-D/E and -K there give it a German championship every 2 years.
We have to qualify us for the German championship between the two years in
district championships (Bavarian championship for example).
So much about the F3B classes in Germany
More next time
Regards
Hans
