| Hi Fred, drop into your local hobby shop and check out the Futaba
line of speed controllers.I think the female type mini connector
is the MC112B,and the Futaba style of male connector(which may be
like your)is called the MC12B.These two are Futaba's least expensive
and both have reverse. There may be other manufacurers as well that
make a speed controller with the male type connectors.
One final thought,if you cannot find a ready made one,cut the connector
off and install the one fron your extra servo.I believe that most
manufacturers adhere to some basic standards in wiring, red +,black-,
and some other color for signal.I installed a Futaba servo on my
Kyosho Pulsar2000,just had to shave off the key,the wires happened
to be coded the same as the Kyosho, had to throw the servo reverse
switch to make it turn the same way my Kyosho did(yet the polarity
of the wiring was correct).
Hope this helps.

As a plan B you could look into the wire-wound-resistor type of speed
controllers available from Parma and Bolink. These are mechanical
speed controllers that attach to standard servos (via servo tape and
screws) and offer variable speed forward, reverse and I think they do
braking too. They are not as nice as electric speed controllers
(they're bigger, hotter, more awkward) but cost a lot less ($20-$25
range).

| Well I went to a local Hobby Shop last night and was talking to the
owner, he said that the MC12B is the Speed Controller that would
work in the MRC/PK105 radio. He said that it would plug right in,
only thing is that he didn't have any in stock but could order one
and have it in, in about 5 days. He wants $69.95 for it and looking
in Tower Hobbies they want $59.99 plus $5.00 shipping. I think I
will go with his offer so if it doesn't just plug in I don't have
to buy it. Another thing he mentioned is that the Electronic Speed
Controllers are sensitive to interferance, does anyone have any
experience with this?
Thanks again
Fred
