I have a sterling cris craft I've been working on on and off. I'ts
a plastic hull with a wood frame interior, 19" long for gas or
electric.I plan on useing a 540 motor from a R/C car with a battery
from the same. I need some info as to what prop should be used,
what kind of shaft to use (flex or solid) and a goodf place to look
for all this. Any help is appreciated.
Thanks Jim

Both Dumas and Midwest have the requisite stuff to power
boats. Dumas probably has the largest selection, including
various motor and battery combinations...
DougT
Robbe is another, though I seem to recall that they are
mostly designed for their kits??

IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR RUNNING GEAR, STUFFING BOXES,SHAFTS,
PROPS AND SUCH, TRY OCTRA. MOST OF THEIR ADS ARE IN THE MAGS
ON RC. I THINK ITS TWO BUCKS AND THEY WILL SEND YOU AN
UNBELIVABLE LIST OF WHAT THEY MAKE AND RECOMENDATIONS FOR
USE. I ALSO BELEIVE THEY ARE MUCH CHEAPER THAN DUMAS.
