Paul Sawyer, promotor at Richmond International Raceway, had some
good news for us before the race last Sunday. First he thanked
the fans for showing up in all types of weather for the early March
race. I know I was snowed out one year down there. He then
announced that he'd talked Nascar into giving him a late April,
early May date for next year. And the best was yet to come, it
will be UNDER THE LIGHTS!!!!!!!!!!! The place went wild, to say
the least. He really knows how to treat his race fans and they
in turn really like the man. I've been hoping for a later date
all along. Now that I got my wish, it'll probably interfere
with bass fishin! It's never easy, hahahaaaaa
