Well, after a ~2year delay, I'm finally going down to Charlotte
this weekend and driving around Charlotte Motor Speedway! With
this being an off weekend for the Cup guys, can someone give me
directions/location/points of interest near Charlotte,
Re..garages,homes,souvenir shops, etc...

| For Christmas '96 my brother gave me a used,3/4 of a nose/grill piece,
from a white, Lumina, Number 3, Busch Grand National car. The thing
has all the dirt and rubber-balls from the track on it.
Now don't that beat all, what the HELL do I do with it?!?!

Just back from Charlotte motor speedway. Awesome! If you ever
get a chance (or save up the money) to drive in Richard Petty's
Driving school...Do It! I drove around the 1.5 mile track 10 times,
and it was too cool!!! I never got to the 160 MPH speed that the
guy I was following (or started following) got to, but it was up
there! If anyone's interested, I can get the number to call.

I think the cost for the 10 lap "Rookie Experience" was $299! For
$89 youo could ride in the passenger seat with a "professional"
driver for 3 laps. There is also a 5 day program where you race
against other people....bigger bucks!
Charlotte was a great little city. We also got tickets for
the Duke-Providence NCAA game on Sunday...Boy, do they love B-Ball
down there!
