    Nick,

You might try subscribing to Cabellas, they are a catalogue sales
outfit that sells just about anything hunting/fishing related. A
note on Rocky boots. They don't hold up well to extremely
rocky/rough terrain. I just returned from a Bighorn sheep hunt
in Colorado, I destroyed a pair in less than a week. I assume
they will be sending me a new pair. They shouldn't advertise them
as a high country, rugged boot.

Could you let us know how you make out with them sending back?

Allways nice to know how a company's return policy is. I was looking
at some items in Cabella's but they seemed a little pricey. I hate to
mail order, have a problem with a product and then have a return policy
    problem to boot (pun:-)

      Thanks,

1525.5CABELLA'S RETURN POLICY IS OUTSTANDINGALASKA::LAFOSSEWHEN THE BULLET HITS THE BONE...Tue Sep 10 1996 18:4728
Least as far as i'm concerned...

I bought a hawken rifle from Cabellas in Oct 92.

I used the gun 1 day in December 92 during the MA primitive arms season.
I did not use the gun again till Nov 93, during the NH Blackpowder season.
On this particular day it rained all day, I wiped the gun down after
hunting, and the blueing came off... It looked as if it was sandblasted,
spoted right down to the white metal. not a spot of rust, I oiled it, to
prevent the bare metal from rusting.

I immediately called one of their representatives to explain the situation
and was told not to worry about it, it would be taken care of,
but due to the fact I needed it back in 3 weeks, and the holidays were
upon us, he advised me to hang on to it, use it during the December 93 MA
muzzleloader season and to call back after the holiday season. (how that for
a run-on sentence... ;^) )

I called after New Years and spoke with a different operator who instructed
me to write directly explaining the problem and enclose the letter with the
gun and to ship it back. I had another one in my hands within 2 weeks.

this is the only thing I have returned to them, but if they go so far as to
honor this, my guess is they would honor most any return.

Based on this they have a customer for life.

Good Luck, Fra

     I agree,,,,

         That's a great return policy....

      I don't even thin Wall-Mart would top that... :-)

     Thanks,
