1512.0. "Turkey Video's and Tapes" by KYOSS1::LUIZZA () Thu May 30 1996 20:26

Being bit bad by the Turkey hunting bug I figured it was time to ask
some advice from the hunting crew. I already have a few video's on
Turkey hunting by Ray Eye and they are great. I would like some
suggestions on some good films and maybe a little breakdown on what's
in them. I'm also looking for a good flick on Calling, general or
advanced. There mouth calls are tough to get the hang of so a good film
on them would be something to look at also.

Being that lately I spend many miles jogging down the highway to my
next call (non turkey, unless you count customers) I could also use
some suggestions on tapes to listen to. Have the Knight and Hale tape
    which is great.

Suggestions and recomendations for the old and new turkey hunter on
video's and tapes should go in this topic.

    Bit bad.

    Irv,

I have had good success with Ben Lee's videos. He doesn't treat the
wild turkey like he is almost impossible to harvest. Of course he
passed away a few years ago, but Wellington Outdoors is still making
    some decent stuff.

I also like Mark Druey? He is the founder of M.A.D. I think if you
can get into an area that has a good number of turkeys and just listen
to them/see how they act, you will pick up stuff that most of the
    videos never have.

    Good Luck
    Wess
