I found a spring hunt for black bear in New Brunswick.
$700 includes lodging (not the greatest I hear) food (excellent)
and license.
Leaving May 5th return 11th. I am going to start the week trying
the bow. Most people are bringing rifles.
I hear they can be 200 - 250 lbs up there.
If anyone is interested there are a few openings left.

Well I had a great week in NB!
I saw 2 and shot one. I got 180lb male and another guy got a 212 sow.
The people who run the place are very good to deal with. They could
use some better beds but the food was great! Next time I'll bring
my camping gear.
The first bear I saw was not quite big enough so I passed. The second
was not much bigger but it was him or none since it was my last day.
