    Would like to know how this rifle would be for hunting deer

| .303 Enfield?? Sure. Fine deer rifle. Iron sights, 200yds, Scope, 300yds, but know your trajectory. the .30cal pill starts to run out of steam and drops a lot out past 200yds. | |||||

     Which model of the Enfield ?
    
     The Jungle carbine (No5 MkI) would require no modifications except
     converting the 10 round clip into a 5 rd...  Very short & handy 
     rifle.  This model is also one of the most collectible of the
     Enfields.  B-square makes no gunsmith mounts also I believe for
     all the 303 Enfield variants.
    
     Any Enfield would be better for hunting if you reload for it.

|     Again, which Enfield? The WW1 rifles are real quality and real
    accurate, the WWII much less so.
