    Would like to know how this rifle would be for hunting deer

.303 Enfield?? Sure. Fine deer rifle. Iron sights, 200yds, Scope, 300yds, but 
know your trajectory. the .30cal pill starts to run out of steam and drops a 
lot out past 200yds.

     Which model of the Enfield ?
    
     The Jungle carbine (No5 MkI) would require no modifications except
     converting the 10 round clip into a 5 rd...  Very short & handy 
     rifle.  This model is also one of the most collectible of the
     Enfields.  B-square makes no gunsmith mounts also I believe for
     all the 303 Enfield variants.
    
     Any Enfield would be better for hunting if you reload for it.

    Again, which Enfield? The WW1 rifles are real quality and real
    accurate, the WWII much less so.
