1461.0. "Hunter Safety Courses in S. NH" by PKHUB3::PI_MORIN () Tue Sep 19 1995 15:26

    I'm looking for Hunter Safety programs being offered in Southern New
    Hampshire. Preferably the Monadnock Region. My son wants to hunt in
    Maine this year which requires a Hunter Safety Course card or previous
    license. Since he is 13 he can hunt on my license in N.H. But he needs
    a Big Game license in Maine which he will have to provide a previous
    license or HSC card. I'd appreciate any info on organizations putting
    on HSC cources in the local area.

	The Goffstown Fish and Game used to run them on a regular
	basis. I've been in Ga. for 4 years now so don't know if
	they still do. Check the " CLUB " topic here or in FIREARMS
	for possible phone numbers.

    Call N.H. Fish & Game @ 603-271-3211 (Public Affairs). They just
    started one at Pelham F&G on 9/07 but you can't miss any classes
    to get the certificate.
