1392.0. "Boise Cascade land access info" by 3314::CABRAL () Tue Sep 27 1994 12:49

    Saw a nice ad in last Sunday's Portland, Maine newspaper from Boise
    Cascade inviting the public to access their land for hunting, fishing,
    snowmobiling, hiking, etc.

     They'll send you a map of their land (in Maine) and details of their
    policies, state regulations, etc if you'll call (207) 364-4521 ext.
    2819.

     I just called and had a nice discussion with a fellow who said their
    policy was to get the word out to the public regarding the free use
    of their land, and to inform people as to policies in advance, so there
    are less misunderstandings. I believe they're also attempting to make
    it clear that they are not one of the major landowner companies who
    charge road/access fees.
