| And might I add, please tell your fellow hunters to join the NRA.
I am amazed at the amount of hunters that are not members.

I don't recall seeing your name in this file very often if at all, but be
aware that most, if not all of the members of this file do read the firearms
file also, and are aware of whats happing to our RKBA, are probably all NRA
members, are calling/writing our reps, and are donating $$ when possible.
So in the future please keep in mind that we are all in this together. "United
we conquer, divided we fall"...
comments such as "effect YOU this time", and "It won't effect ME..." do nothing
but turn people off. For the record, it DID effect US the last time!

| Fra,
I believe there are still some members of this file that are not
members of the NRA. Those that are not members of the NRA need a wakeup
call. Maybe this might do it. It's sad that with the amount of hunters
out there that they are not members of the NRA. What are there, 20 to
30 Million hunters (I'm guessing here) and only 3 million NRA members?
I would think that percentage wise it would be pretty close in this
file also. If these people don't join it may be too late. There is
power in numbers and we need those numbers NOW!

I did not mean for this to get too political, we are all in the same boat
here. If my tone or manner sounded as if I were bashing hunters it was not
meant in that way at all. I was a hunter long before I joined the NRA, I am a
hunter and my goal was to alert other hunters as to what was happening out
there. I know that many, maybe even all HUNTING noters are NRA members and
I did not mean to sound as if few or no noters were NRA members. The last
thing I would want to do is to make it seem as if there are two groups here,
we are all one family with one common attribute, we all enjoy guns and gunning
in some form or fashion and want to continue doing so. One major goal of the
anti's is to try and separate the people who own guns into different camps.
This was exemplified by Bill Clinton several times when, first when he went
duck hunting at Thanksgiving and again around the time he signed Brady, when
he spoke of our heritage of hunting and how he was a part of that heritage.
To me, we are all one, regardless of weather you shoot paper, clay or meat.
If in my editorializing I sounded like a jerk, please forgive me, it was
brought on by being too afraid of what my happen and too enthusiastic about
trying to prevent it.
Cordially,
Paul
