Hi folks,
I've just recently moved to Northboro and have been looking
for places to train. I participate in AKC hunting tests and
need to locate a place to do "T-line" and 5 point lining drills.
I've found a few places about 20 minutes away and was hoping to find
some places closer, so I can train before going to work in the
morning.
For the "T-line" drills it would be best to find somewhere that
is mowed or at least mowed a few times a year. It needs to be
120-160 yards long and 60-80 yards wide.
For the 5 point lining drills, ideally the area should have different
cover, not too thick or heavy, it would be great if it also had a stream
or varying cover, and obstacles.
I've checked out the Westboro WMA, there are too many wild roses.
Does anyone know of any town or state land that would be open for this
type of training near Northboro?
Any help would be appreciated,
Thanks,
Michael
