While at the gun show up in Concord on Saturday I obtained more details
on the Friends of the NRA event coming in October:

Granite State Friends of NRA Dinner - Auction
Alpine Grove Banquet Facility, Hollis, NH
Friday, October 15, 1993
6:00 PM
Prices:
 Member: $30
 Member & Spouse: $50
 Non-Member: $55

Non-Member price *includes* an NRA annual membership. Both member and
non-member price includes a $10 tax-deductible contribution to The NRA
Foundation.

The NRA Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit branch of the NRA that
contributes to education, training, range development, and similar
activities. It is the fund, for example, that is putting together a
large regional range (like the Whittington Center in New Mexico) on
donated land on the Massachusetts/Vermont border.

NRA President Robert Corbin is the keynote speaker. Many other
dignitaries are expected to attend, possibly including members of NH's
Congressional delegation and the Governor.

There will be door prizes and an auction.

That's probably all I can say without crossing the line into
solicitation. Contact me by e-mail or call me at home (603-465-3691)
for, as Paul Harvey would say, "the rest of the story."

I have run out of my supply of tickets. Anyone wishing to go should call
1-800-890-NRA1 for tickets. Questions can be directed to Craig Peterson
at DECWRL::"[email protected]" or 603-672-8332.

Also, PLEASE LET YOUR FRIENDS KNOW ABOUT THE DINNER. It's become obvious
that the message didn't make it to some clubs in time for them to get it
out to their membership. If you know anyone who might be interested in
attending, please make sure they know the event is being held!

Thanks,
Hal
