As reported in the Worcester Telegram & Gazette today,
Tom Bombard bagged a 12-point buck in Petersham last December,
and it will soon become the first deer ever taken in Mass
to make the Boone & Crockett Club record book. The buck dressed
out @ 165 lbs. and was taken Dec. 5. The deer sported a nearly
symmetrical rack in all measurements: the 2 main beams were
exactly 27 1/4" long. The rack scored 175 3/8 points and
was scored by offical scorer Phil Liddle in N.Y.
With offical scoring complete, Bombard now awaits final
review by the B & C record committee so his name can be
placed in the record book.
