One doe and one buck or two bucks for archery. For shotgun it is
two bucks unless you have and antlerless deer permit then one of each.

| You can also extend your archery season by hunting with a bow
during the shotgun season, but you have to abide by the archery
rules. No archery hunting allowed during the primitive weapons
season. Always seemed like a strange rule to me.

<< you have to abide by the Archery rules.>>>>
The previous note should read, You must abide by the Shotgun seasons rules,
because you don't need a permit for antlerless during archery and you don't
have to wear 500 square inches of Blaze orange at that time also.

| In Mass., you are allowed 2 deer, of which only one can be
antlerless. If you take a doe with a bow during archery, and you
draw a doe permit, this invalidates your doe permit.
If you hunt with a bow during shotgun season, I believe that
you do need to wear the 500 square inches of hunter orange. I could
be wrong. But I don't think so. Good luck.

I'm not sure if I was clear in re.4, you must follow the rules of
Shotgun season wohich does mandate the 500" of Blaze.
