    	In my home town of Beverly Mass. there is a move to pass a law
    	to ban the discharge of a firearm unless you are a law official.  
    	They also want to band hunting.  The police chief has said he wants 
    	a law to arest anyone coming out of the woods hunting and take them 
    	to jail, this includes bow hunters.  The main problem is around and 
    	area of 2 to 4 square miles of moderately thick woods.  (Shutgun only)
    	Anyway, I want to flag this here.  The hunting community needs all 
    	the help they can get.  If you know anyone in that area, please get 
    	the word out.  Even if you do not live in Mass. write a letter to
    	the chief, mayor and alterpersons of Beverly Mass, Town Hall Cabot 
    	Street, ZIP 01915.
    
    	Comments made by the anti-hunting people at the first hearing.
    
    	I am afraid someone is going to shoot and arrow into the air and it is
    	going to hit me on the head.
    
    	I am afraid of all the hunters with their rifles.  (Shotgun only).
    
    	I am afraid that an arrow will be deflected and hit me.  (Once
    	an arrow hits something it is usual done.)
    
    	My dad hunted from October until December this year.  Both in New
    	Hampshire and Mass.  He got his deer the last week of shotgun in
    	Beverly.  He is know 73 years old.  Quite a thing I thought for
    	him to pull a 145 buck (dressed out) a mile through the woods.
    	My dad has been hunting and trapping sence he was 14.  He says
    	when he gets out in the wood hunting, especially in his home town it
    	makes him feel young again.  Something like this will not only
    	effect the quality of the rest of his life but could also effect
    	the amount of time he has left.  I do not think I will be able 
    	to forgive anyone who passes a law like this.   My cousin is a 
    	alterperson.  I plan to call her tonight.
