Being a novice with a duck call, I would like to gather input from
all you callers out there on how to make the sounds needed.
I know there are 3 basic calls:
1) Hail call
2) Quack
3) Feeding chuckle
I have been able to turn ducks with the hail call, and even
gotten a couple to come all the way in by combining it with the
quack. I have no idea how to make the feeding chuckle.
I have seen several shows and read a couple of articles on how to call
but they seem to have different advise.
How do you make the sounds you make while calling ducks and geese?

I have a tape that demonstrates the feeder with a mouth call. The easy
way out is to buy one of those tube shaped calls that you shake.
Sounds just like a feeder.
Remember, different species have different calls, particularly woodies
and teal.

I tend to eat a hearty meal before hunting, this allows me to "burp"
into my caller to simulate feeding.
