| Mark,
Likewise, I'll check the address for Knutson's. They've got
everything for decoys in there and prices are quite reasonable as well.
I get my full bodied goose decoys and bluebills from there.
I'll talk to you tomorrow.

As for Bufflehead decoys, we just use the Goldeneye. They're
practically the same and we've found that the bigger decoys are easier
to spot in a chop and seem to work better than the Bufflehead decoys.
Also note that the black/white decoys will pull in just about any
webfoot with that basic color. Mergansers for instance.

| Mark, it looks like Carry-Lite has Goldeneye, but non of the others.
Gander lists their standard weighted keels at $48 a dozen or $20 for 4.
Wing Supply lists the same thing for $45 a dozen. There number
is 1-800-388-9464 if you are interested.

| Besides, once you get them finished you wouldn't really want to have them
rolling around in the bottom of a canoe and sitting in saltwater. :-)

Mark,
Sorry this is late in the day, but I'm in the process of moving to
Salem, N.H. and my work load has increased about double...Any rate....
the name of the company I told you about is Knutson's Discount Decoys
and accessories.
Address is:
164 Wamplers Lake Road
Brooklyn, Michigan 49230-0457
Phone # is 1-800-248-9318
or 1-517-592-2786
If you can give me your mailstop, I can send you a catalog as
I found an extra one at home.
Waterfowling is what I do best, and it looks like I'll get
the fall season in here on Lake Champlain but I'll have to be looking
for places in the New Hampshire area during the winter so I'll be ready
for next fall.

| John, When are you moving to Salem? The waterfowl season runs fairly
late in the year, particularly the Mass coast.

| John if youre moving to new hampshire i would recommend massabesic
lake in manchester and derry n.h. for your duck hunting. i use to live
in n.h. and i would always hunt massabesic lake for ducks you will
get all different types along with snow and canidien geese. the best
spot on the lake is called browns point. i use to camp out from friday
to sunday on the island. some days there be no action and ome other
days the action was non-stop. good luck in n.h.
i have gone south with the birds in the land of dixie

Thanks for the advice from the Land of Dixie. After hunting Lake
Champlain for over 20 years, it's going to be tough to make the change,
so I thank and appreciate each and every one for your advice.
Regards,
John
