Well, this has been a weekend for prep on deer season. Friday night: My neighbor, a welder, made me a conduant ladder stand at 8'. Saturday, painted my new stand, shot my bow. Sunday, went to deer land #1. There are 2 deer lands for me. Scouted around all morning, saw some good signs of very recent deer. Set up stands, etc. Sunday, I sighted my .270 in, but then noticed scope mount was loose. DAMN! Hey leonard, it's fixed now. Next sunday looks good. Monday, shot my bow. 16 more days for bow season. Oh, I still have to buy my license. I am dreaming 9 points and up. When I woke up, something was up alright, one point! Ha Ha! bob

Bob Sundays a definite, while cleaning the '06 for some reason I went to remove one of the adjustment caps and guess what, need more be said. I'd really like to get out there around 0900-0930 hours, there is a lot that needs to be done later on in the day. Oh, got that make believe side arm fixed. Took and honed down the irregularity in the chamber, cartridge fits good. BTW, also picked up a red felt tipped marker, so it looks like we're all set, all we need is to get there now. 1021.3 | We Have a plan | OASS::SOBCZYNSKI_L | Thu Sep 05 1991 13:07 | 10 | |
Bob, Have limited time also, so I have a plan. Just to make sure that all goes well we'll take some transparencies out there. Take a shot at it and then mark the 'X' at the desired spot. Guess we'll be in on the first shot this way. Cheers Leonard |
