I'm looking for help finding one more field trial to run my puppy
in this Spring. The trail should be sometime during the first 3
weeks of may, can be either AKC or American Field, and should have
a puppy class open to all pointing breeds.

It should be within 16 hours drive of Southern NH (figure Cincinnati/
    Detroit/North Carolina as outer limits).

If anyone out there gets American Field and could check for listings
of upcoming trials, I'd be grateful. I plan to call the AKC today
    as well.

    Stu,

Hope this Field Trial info is not too late - I just saw your note.
Northern New England Brittany Club is running their next field trial at
Sharp's Farm, Routes 9 and 202 in Hopkinton, NH on May 18 - 19. Trial
sec is Dot Stevenson (603-763-5383). They will have the following
stakes: Open All Age; Open Gun Dog; Open Puppy; Amateur Gun Dog; Open
    Derby; Walking Hunting Dog.

I edit the newsletter for Northern California Brittany Club, so if you
need dates of trials in other locations, let me know.

Thanks, Cathy. I'm aware of the NNEBC trial. I'm also very familiar
with the Sharp's farm grounds. Unfortunately, they are simply too small
for this dog. I've decided not to run her there as she'll blow right
    off the course.

Thanks to Dave Nelson and Jack Schneider who gave me a pointer to
the Bird Dog Club of Maine trial this Saturday (5/11) in Fryeburg,
    ME.
