829.0. "HELP?? locating a noter." by WFOV11::DRUMM () Tue Oct 30 1990 10:11

Mod. If this is not a proper note feel free to delete.

About a week ago some one down in Dixie land, I think, wrote a note
about their hunt in which they used a deer scent called "Buck Magnet"
and stated they had taken several deer!! I can't locate the note. Can
some one point me to the note?

The reason I ask is that the manufacturer of the "Buck Magnet"
would like to talk to the noter. He is a personal friend of mine and
he is trying to compile sucess stories of hunters using his product.

As we all should know policy does not allow extraction of notes for
outside use. I would like to have my friend get in touch with the noter
and get their story first hand.

    	Thanks Steve

    Steve,

Is this to add value against the latest trashing of this
product on the T.V show Michigan Outdoors?

    	Guy,

No, he does not intend to try and disprove the claims on the
Michigan Outdoors show. He simply is trying to market his new product.
I've taken deer using his product and can say it works. He wants to use
what ever stories he can find for the product. He travles around the
northeast giving lectures and pushing the product. What ever he can get
his hands on helps him and gives the hunter some noteriety(sp). Like
me, in his ad published in over half million copies of mags. papers and
    such.
